When the blink and flash connect
How long is too long to stare
Our expressions have begun to reflect

Who knows the time
Who knows the place
Who knows anything about us
Where did I ever see you before

This is instantaneously
Confusing for the both of us
We can't resolve this quic enough
Either too polite of scared to discuss
I'd rather run than call my bluff

We could resolve this easily
With a wave and dismissal
But we've stared for too long
And worried that this will
Cause some alarm
And lose some of our charm
When I can't decide who I just spotted
And remember why I know you.
